font-size: 1.2em;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat;\">8. <\/span><\/strong><\/span>Compliance with the antitrust laws and related laws<\/h4>\r\nWe must comply with the Antimonopoly Law, the Subcontract Law, and other countries\u2019 competition laws, and must not conduct any transaction associated with private monopolization, improper trade restrictions or unfair trade practices.\r\n<h4><span style=\"color: #993300; font-size: 1.2em;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat;\">9. <\/span><\/strong><\/span>Prohibition of unfair competition<\/h4>\r\nWe must neither illegally use the trade secrets of other companies nor carry out sales activities that may lose other companies\u2019 trust.\r\nWe must not use product or sales descriptions of others without obtaining approval, or manufacture and sell imitations of products made by others with the aim of letting consumers confuse our company&#8217;s products with those of other companies. Our sales activities must not make consumers misunderstand the quality or origin of the products.\r\n<h4><span style=\"color: #993300; font-size: 1.2em;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat;\">10. <\/span><\/strong><\/span>Respect for intellectual property rights of others<\/h4>\r\nWe must not infringe others\u2019 intellectual property rights of others.\r\n<h4><span style=\"color: #993300; font-size: 1.2em;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat;\">11. <\/span><\/strong><\/span>Entertainment or Gift-giving<\/h4>\r\nWe must not give or receive excessive entertainment or gifts to customers or business partners.\r\n<h4><span style=\"color: #993300; font-size: 1.2em;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat;\">12. <\/span><\/strong><\/span>Compliance with domestic and foreign bribery regulations<\/h4>\r\nWe must not engage in any act that may be considered or be suspected of bribery. We must not perform acts that may harm the dignity of individuals, such as unfair discrimination or harassment, for any of the following reasons: position in the company; type of employment; age; gender; birthplace; ancestry; nationality; race; handicap; religion; beliefs; marital status, etc.\r\n<h4><span style=\"color: #993300; font-size: 1.2em;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat;\">15. <\/span><\/strong><\/span>Privacy Protection<\/h4>\r\nWe must not collect or use personal information concerning employees and customers of our company and employees of other companies having business relations with our company for any purpose other than business. We must also manage such information with close attention so as not to leak them to persons other than those involved.\r\n<h4><span style=\"color: #993300; font-size: 1.2em;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat;\">16. <\/span><\/strong><\/span>Health and safety at the workplace<\/h4>\r\nBased on the basic principle of \u201cPutting Safety First and Foremost,\u201d we must ensure safety at the workplace, practice safe activities, and secure health and safety not only for people at the workplace but also for all persons concerned, including employees of affiliated companies. At the same time, we must pay close attention to our minds and bodies so that we remain mentally and physically sound.\r\n<h4><span style=\"color: #993300; font-size: 1.2em;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat;\">17. <\/span><\/strong><\/span>Compliance with labor-related laws<\/h4>\r\nWe must comply with the Labor Standards Law and other employment-related laws and regulations.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"bottom-widen-100\">\r\n<h3>Rules concerning Our Company and Assets<\/h3>\r\n<h4><span style=\"color: #993300; font-size: 1.2em;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat;\">18. <\/span><\/strong><\/span>Compliance with our employee work regulations<\/h4>\r\nWe must comply with our company&#8217;s Employee Work Regulations and other human resources and personnel management-related rules.\r\n<h4><span style=\"color: #993300; font-size: 1.2em;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat;\">19. <\/span><\/strong><\/span>Prohibition on canvassing for membership of political parties, religious organizations, etc.<\/h4>\r\nWe must not force other persons or undertake canvassing activities for them to join or support a particular political party, religious organization or other organizations that people join based on their personal beliefs or preferences.\r\n<h4><span style=\"color: #993300; font-size: 1.2em;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat;\">20. <\/span><\/strong><\/span>Proper accounting treatment<\/h4>\r\nWe must adopt generally accepted accounting standards.\r\n<h4><span style=\"color: #993300; font-size: 1.2em;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat;\">21. <\/span><\/strong><\/span>Proper keeping of transaction records<\/h4>\r\nWe must accurately record transactions relating to our business activities and properly keep the records.\r\n<h4><span style=\"color: #993300; font-size: 1.2em;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat;\">22. <\/span><\/strong><\/span>Control of trade secrets<\/h4>\r\nConfidential information, such as customer information, trade secrets, or know-how, is an important asset of our company.
